  • Raw or cooked Dairy products

  • Raw or cooked Meat

  • BPI Certified service ware/products

  • Renuable Bamboo Toothbrushes (no bristles)

  • Fruits/veggies (with mold)

  • Dead plants

  • Coffee grounds

  • Paper napkins/paper towels (no chemicals)

  • Toilet paper rolls/paper towel rolls

  • Nude cardboard without tape or labels

  • Pizza Boxes

  • Newspaper

  • Fat

  • Pet hair

  • Pumpkins (no paints/glitters/googly eyes)

  • Fingernail clippings (non-coated/painted)

  • Yard clippings

  • Straw & hay

  • Dry leaves

  • Egg Shells

  • Shredded (non-coated) paper

  • Real sawdust and wood shavings (From untreated wood)

  • Dead/dried flowers (non-dyed)

  • Breads, rolls, grains, rice, pasta.

  • Dryer Lint

  • "Compostable" products & packaging WITHOUT a visible BPI Certification logo

  • Coal or charcoal ashes

  • Oils (other than regular amounts of cooking oils)

  • Any toxic material

  • Grease

  • Shiny/glossy paper or cardboard (contains a plastic film)

  • Any Plastic

  • Sawdust and wood shavings from pressure-treated wood
